Is naturopathic care covered by MSI?
No, unfortunately naturopathic medicine is a part of the private medical system and you will have to pay for the visit. The majority of clients who visit a naturopathic doctor have secondary insurance like Blue Cross or SunLife. Each policy has different coverage, check with your provider.
What is the cost?
An initial visit comprised of a 90 minute health assessment, relevant physical exam and treatment plan is $140 plus tax
Followup visits are 30-45 minutes are $70 plus tax may occur every three to four weeks initially
Do I need to have a specific concern?
Not at all, naturopathic medicine is a primary medicine that is focused on prevention. While Dr. Murphy can offer suggestions for aiding healing in even the most serious medical conditions and mysteries, there are also instances where simple lifestyle changes can be uncovered that can prevent problems in the future!
